The 2021 INREV Trends in Investor Reporting study shows record compliance with INREV Guidelines, driven by increased adoption and focus on reliable reporting. The report also highlighted ESG as a key priority for investment managers, with a separate ODCE section for added transparency.
- The study shows an aggregated average compliance of 90% across the modules, a considerable improvement from 2019 (85%)
- Compliance with the Sustainability Reporting section of the Reporting module (85%) showed continued improvement compared to 2019 (73%), indicating that most participants report their ESG objectives and/or strategy
- Open End Core European Institutional non-listed real estate funds (ODCE Index funds) represented approximately 25% of total participants, with their average compliance score being in line with the overall sample (90%).
