German vehicles’ performance turned positive in Q2 2026

 The Q2 2026 performance of the INREV German Vehicles Index turned positive from -0.04% in Q1 to 0.30% in Q2, the highest level since Q2 2024. The Q2 2026 release includes 203 vehicles with a combined GAV of €183.6 billion.  

 Key highlights: 

  • At 0.43%, Publikumsfonds outperformed for the first time since Q3 2024 while Spezialfonds delivered their lowest total return since Q3 2024 
  • The vehicles with a global focus turned positive to 0.51% in Q2 and outperformed all the other geographical strategies for the first time since Q2 2024 
  • At 0.30%, industrial / logistics focused funds outperformed the other single sector specialists, followed by residential and retail specialists.
