Swedish investors remain positive about the asset class
After years of strong performance, investors around Europe are bound to ask if real estate can continue to justify its level of allocation in their portfolios.
Swedish investors are no exception. Their real estate holdings once again performed well in 2018, for many eclipsing all other asset classes, but consistently strong performance means that many parts of the European market now look expensive on a historic basis. The result is a degree of apprehension among Swedish investors about current pricing levels and a perception of growing risks in some markets, particularly due to the possibility of interest rate hikes.
