A questionnaire given to a company to retrieve a standard set of documents and information that exemplify the strategy, investment and operating capabilities of the company. It is generally given to a GP by an LP or investment consultant, but may be prepared by the GP to provide LPs with an overview of the firm. It frequently covers factors such as the firm history, investment strategy, compliance and operating capabilities.
