Also known as Economic Share, a term used to describe the ownership of the Fund's interest in a particular investment based on the current period hypothetical liquidation (i.e., waterfall) calculation. (As used herein, joint venture means any investments which is other than wholly owned). At different points in the life of the investment, the Effective Share may differ from the contractual (i.e., legal or contribution) share for the investment.
