Debt Funds Committee

Goal

To enhance industry knowledge and promote transparency in the non-listed real estate debt segment. The committee aims to promote the harmonisation of key concepts and performance metrics used by debt vehicles, thereby enhancing comparability and standardisation.

Projects

The committee takes a deep dive into the evolving European debt fund industry, enhancing thought leadership and performance transparency. It will continue to build on the existing suite of publications and inform further thought leadership, aim to improve consistency, and drive consensus for the evolving debt market segment. It will explore the European Debt Funds Performance Index and will build on the expanded suite of Management Fees and Terms studies with a version for Debt funds.

The committee will lead the design and implementation of new strategic initiatives aimed at further advancing industry practice as per the membership’s needs.
